Parotidectomy is a procedure aimed at removing benign and malignant tumors of this salivary gland.

Sometimes this procedure can also be used to treat chronic infections, whether or not they are associated with parotid salivary stones.

The removed tissue will be sent for histopathological examination in order to obtain a definitive diagnosis, which will allow Dr. Yousefpour to recommend the appropriate treatment.
